Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information Power Plumbing USA collects when you use our website or request plumbing service, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it โ including the specific rights you have as a California resident.
1. Who we are
Power Plumbing USA is a licensed plumbing contractor based in Union City, California, serving the San Francisco Bay Area. We hold California contractor license #1082507. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Power Plumbing USA, and "you" means anyone who visits powerplumbingusa.com or contacts us about plumbing work.
This policy applies to our website and to the information we collect when you request a quote, book service, or communicate with us.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you submit a quote request or contact form, or call, text or email us, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The service address where work is needed
- The type of service you need and how urgent it is
- A description of your plumbing problem, including any photos or video you choose to send us
- Any other information you choose to include in your message
You do not have to give us this information, but we cannot quote or schedule work without enough of it to reach you and understand the job.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our analytics and advertising tools may automatically collect standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type and device, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Information we do not collect on this website
We do not take payment through this website and do not collect card or bank details through it. Payment for completed work is arranged directly with you.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to your quote request and prepare a price
- Schedule, perform and follow up on plumbing work
- Contact you about an appointment, an emergency call-out, or a job in progress
- Keep records of work performed, including for warranty, permit and insurance purposes
- Improve our website and understand which pages and adverts are useful
- Detect and prevent spam and fraudulent form submissions
- Comply with our legal, licensing and tax obligations
4. Calls, texts and email
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may contact you by phone call, text message or email about the service you asked about. We use these to send quotes, confirm appointments, give arrival updates and follow up on completed work.
Stopping messages: you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling the person you are speaking to, or emailing us using the details in section 13. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop essential messages about work already in progress.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used and measure our advertising.
Specifically, we use:
- Google Analytics โ to understand how visitors find and use the site.
- Google Ads โ to measure the performance of our advertising and to show relevant adverts.
- Google reCAPTCHA โ to protect our forms from automated spam. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how sites should respond to it, and our website does not currently respond to those signals. Where required, we treat recognised opt-out preference signals as a request to opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. Who we share information with
We share personal information only where it is needed to run our business or where the law requires it:
- Service providers who work on our behalf โ for example our website host, email provider, and the analytics and advertising tools named above.
- Permitting authorities and inspectors, where a job requires a permit or inspection.
- Insurers and their adjusters, where you ask us to document work for a claim.
- Legal and regulatory bodies, where we are required to respond to a lawful request, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
- A successor business, if our business is sold or transferred.
We do not subcontract our service area, so your job details are handled by our own crews rather than passed to third-party contractors.
7. We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing. Under California law, the use of advertising and analytics cookies can be treated as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out of that by contacting us using the details in section 13, by using your browser's cookie controls, or by using the Google opt-out linked in section 5.
8. How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as needed to provide the service, honour any warranty on the work, and meet our legal, licensing, tax and insurance obligations. Records connected to completed work are generally kept longer than enquiries that never became a job. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it unreadable.
9. How we protect it
Our website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to customer records is limited to people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, card numbers or bank details through our website forms โ we never ask for them there.
10. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights:
- Right to know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
- Right to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions such as records we must keep for legal, warranty or tax reasons.
- Right to correct personal information you believe is inaccurate.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined in the Act.
- Right to non-discrimination โ we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.
To make a request, contact us using the details in section 13. We will need to verify your identity before we act, usually by confirming details you have already given us, such as the phone number or address associated with your enquiry. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf, and we may ask for proof of that authorisation.
We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and to respond within the timeframes the law requires.
11. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults arranging plumbing work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Where changes are significant, we will make that clear on this page. Continuing to use our website or our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
